This is such a lovely instrument, it looks nice and has a really nice, warm sound.The sound is pretty good for the price point.Oh, the joy it brings. I can not believe I paid so little for this whole package.I would highly recommend!I love the minimalist design and the natural wooden exterior looks so beautiful.I think it’s perfect for beginners.I was able to use that effectively even though it was my first time trying.The only thing that wasn’t great about this set was the neck strap. The uke itself is beautiful and has a lovely, rich sound.The nicest uku best bang for buck from any instrument. My kala exotic has better tone but it's a tenor. This amazon uku is midgrade buy looks and feels high end. I'd say it's intonation is perfect and setup pretty much on point to perfection. Needs better tuners and better string MAYBE. Buy this uku no hesitation.Craftsmanship is like those $200-$1000. Sound and playability is not what you would call for a beginner. I brought it for my granddaughter but it’s not leaving the house. Work of art.I love my new ukulele! I'm a beginner and have had a few issues, but they were due to my ignorance. Thank goodness for the internet and YouTube videos which taught me how to successfully replace the E string I snapped the first time I tuned it. Gah! It has to be tuned each time before playing, but the internet says that is normal too. The instrument is beautiful. I love the wood color and design around the hole and top edge of the body. My only disappointment is the tuner won't tune the C string. G, E, and A all come in bright green, but you never even see the C string show up in the meter display. I have to go to YouTube to tune that key. I'm delighted with the quality of the padded carrying case and the neck strap is silky smooth. I'm very pleased with my purchase. I just wish the dang tuning meter worked. Highly recommend this ukulele.This instrument is good quality for the price, when I tuned it the first time it stayed in tune for a long time. Sounds good, and the aesthetics are good too. My son loves learning on this thing and enjoys playing it. Also use it for camping trips to use around bonfire singing.
